Romanian construction workers laid off in UK

Two hundred Romanian workers employed at the Olympic Park construction site lost their jobs in the past two months, UK daily The Independent. The workers were sacked as part of a general campaign against illegal immigration.

The Romanian immigrants were employed in order to help building the largest construction project in Europe, currently offering jobs to 3,000 people.
