Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry: Romanian citizens in Osh, Kyrgyzstan were evacuated
Six Romanian citizens in the Kurdish Republic were evacuated from the Osh city, with the help of the German embassy together with over 80 European and American citizens, Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry informs in a press release.
Six Romanians were at the time in Bishkek and they are safe. The six will decide whether they will return in the country or not. As Romania does not have an Embassy or a Consular office in the Kurdish Republic, Romanian citizens can address any EU diplomatic mission for help.
