Romanian national currency depreciates 1% to 3.7171 RON for 1 euro

The European currency was quoted at 3.7161 Romanian Ron on Thursday, according to Romanian National Bank data. Romania’s currency lost almost 1% to the euro, after the central Bank announced an exchange rate of 3.6799 Romanian Ron for 1 euro on Wednesday.

According to Romanian news agency NewsIn, quoting Transilvania Bank chief dealer Ioan Birle, declared the national currency fell most within very few hours today.
