Romanian prosecutors received the documents from Singapore regarding Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu's case

Romanian prosecutors received the documents requested from judicial authorities in Singapore in the case of Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu involved in a car accident in Singapore, causing the death of one person and the injury of another two.

According to judicial sources quoted by the Romanian news agency Mediafax, authorities in Singapore answered to the requests of the Romanian party and sent all documents.

On February 2, former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu was officially under the investigation of the Court for homicide, false in declarations and hit and run. As a consequence, Silviu Ionescu was suspended.
