HotNews.ro

Romania’s President Traian Basescu announced in a press conference that he will sign the decree to designate the Democrat Liberal party president Emil Boc as Prime Minister, after Theodor Stolojan, the Democratic Liberal leader who was first nominated for prime minister, announced on Monday that dropped his nomination.

Basescu declared that Emil Boc is the president of the party which received most of the votes in the November 30 parliamentary elections. He declared that he couldn’t explain Stolojan’s decision to withdraw and that only he could do that.
