Russian media: Moscow may respond to missile shield with its own missiles in Kaliningrad

Russia may deploy tactical nuclear missiles and high-precision military systems in the region of Kaliningrad as a response to the deployment of US missile shield elements in Poland and the Czech Republic as talks in this regard are taking place at the State Duma, according to Gazeta.ru.

It quotes the head of the Duma defense commission Viktor Zavarzin, according to whom there was a need to modernize and improve the forces and military means currently deployed in Kaliningrad.
