Russian military forces are on the verge of withdrawal from the strategic port Poti, West Georgia after the protests of the international community, Georgian National Security Council secretary Aleksandr Lomaia declared, quoted by AFP. However, Moscow officials did not confirm this information.
Recently, the group of the seven industrialized countries, the G7, condemned Russia’s excessive retaliation against Georgia and their subsequent actions, BBC informs. As a reaction, PM Putin’s spokesperson declared that Russia is the last country to want a new cold war.
