Senate speaker: „Basescu’s resignation would mean the change of the entire presidential team”

The Senate speaker, social democrat Nicolae Vacaroiu, declared on Wednesday that „the entire team in the Presidential Administration should be changed in case president Basescu resigns. We are speaking about 3 to 4 months without a president, therefore a change is required”, says Vacaroiu.

In case the president resigns, the Senate speaker Vacaroiu is the one to replace him, according to the Constitution.
