Social Democratic leader: Opposition parties to submit censure motion should government assume responsibility over Labor Code

Romania’s Social Democratic Party (PSD, opposition leader) Victor Ponta said on Tuesday that his party and fellow National Liberals (PNL) would submit a censure motion, should the Government assume responsibility in Parliament over a changed Labor Code, news agency Mediafax reports.

Asked if PSD and PNL have considered the chances of success for a motion censure, Ponta said „we will submit a motion, we do not count” chances.

PM Emil Boc announced on Monday that the leaders of the governing coalition were proposing assumption of responsibility in Parliament as a means to push the Labor Code through.
