Survey: Romania among the 5 destinations avoided by British tourists

Romania is among the first five destinations avoided by British tourists this Summer, a survey quoted by The Guardian reads. On the other hand, a third of the questioned British declared they will spend their holiday in the country, due to the crisis.
The survey reveals that a quarter of the British will spend more days in holiday than they did last year. In 2010, a British family will spend, on average 980 pounds for a holiday. The preferred destinations are Scotland, Great Lake District, Devon or Snowdonia.
Top destinations avoided by British tourists are Greece – 13% due to its financial instability, Iceland with 9%, Turkey and Russia with 7% and Romania 5%.
