Swedish Immigration minister about the expulsion of several Romanian gypsies: beggary is an unjust way to make a living
Beggary represents an unjust way to make a living and the Swedish law regulating the foreigner’s statute reads that immigrats must prove that they can support themselves in Sweden, cinluding those who are EU citizens, Swedish Immigration minister Tobias Billstrom motivated on Monday the recent expulsion of several Rroma people, most of them Romanian citizens, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs quoting the Austrian agency APA.
The decision to expel the group did not breach in any way the freedom of movement principle of the EU as there are information that the beggary was organized, the official explained. According to a public rado, 50 Rroma people, most of them coming from Romania were expelled this year from Sweden.
