Romania’s PM Tariceanu urged all ministries to cut spending for cars, personnel, protocol or trips abroad. Tariceanu demanded that the Economy ministry to come up with a set of measures to introduce a severe disincentive regarding spending at the governmental level, a press release of the executive reads.

Tariceanu added that all necessary measures need to be taken to diminish prices for public acquisitions. Tariceanu declared that these measures do not need to cease investment projects. Moreover, the official meeting was suspended as PM Tariceanu was summoned to talk to his party colleague, Bogdan Olteanu, currently Chamber of Deputies Speaker.
