Tarom airliner left for Japan to pick up Romanians from Narita airport on Saturday, 11 AM local time
A Tarom airliner took off on Friday, 6 PM from the Romanian International Airport Henri Coanda for Tokyo in a special flight to repatriate Romanian citizens who requested it, Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry reads. The Ministry appeals to all families of Romanian citizens now in Japan to send their relatives information that the Tarom airliner will be at Narita airport ready for takeoff to Romania on Saturday March 19th at 3:20 PM local time. Passengers are expected to join the aircraft by 11 AM local time the latest. Persons who wish to leave with this aircraft will have to present at Tokyo’s Narita Airport, Terminal 1, North Wing, level 4 at Departures, G area by the latest 11 AM local time.
Romania’s government will cover half of the costs of airline tickets for this special commercial flight and Romanian citizens will have to cover the other half. The measure is part of the action plans of the Romanian government to ensure that all Romanian citizens are repatriated safely.
