The annual inflation rate increased to 7.88% / In October prices increased by 0.55% 

The annual inflation rate increased in October to 7.88%, the biggest contribution came from an increase in prices for non food products, especially tobacco, Romanian National Statistics Institute reads.

The prices of food products increased in October by 0.8%, non food products by 0.3% and services increased by 0.7%.

Railway transport increased by 4.91% and water, sanitary services increased by 1.34%. From the begining of the year, food prices increased by4.73%, services advanced by 6.18% and non food products increased by 8.75%.
