The recent armed conflict between Georgia and Russia regarding the two separatist regions South Ossetia and Abkhazia will move, starting Monday, at the International Court of Justice in Hague, international newspapers read.

Judges will hear, for three consecutive days, the arguments of both Russian and Georgian authorities regarding the emergency measures demanded by Georgia to the Court to determine Russia to stop ethnic cleansing measures in the two regions, AFP informs.

Georgian authorities argue that 10% of its 4.5 million inhabitants moved within its borders and demands Russian to determine expelled Georgians to return in the separatist regions. Georgia submitted a written complaint against Russia on August 12.

The Russian army entered Georgian territory on August 8 to push back Georgian troops planning to take control over South Ossetia.
