The Romanian Ron appreciated on Thursday to its lowest level in the last six weeks

The reference exchange rate published by Romania’s National Bank dropped on Thursday by 1.6 lei to 4.2132 lei for one euro, registering its lowest level in the last six weeks. On Wednesday, one euro was quoted by the central bank with 4.2293 lei.

The national currency gained ground in front of the American currency up to 2.8524 lei for one dollar from 2.8617 lei for one dollar on Wednesday.
