Traffic on key Bucharest road restricted until autumn

Traffic on a the Oltenitei Road linking downtown Bucharest to the southern outskirts of the city was restricted on Monday, April 2 for rehabilitation works at the tram line and adjacent streets. The Bucharest City Hall announced the works may last until November 2007.

Traffic around the Piata Sudului area, a road hub in south Bucharest, is expected to be seriously affected for the period.
