Two new A/H1N1 infections recorded in Iasi
Infectious Diseases Supervision Centre announced two new swine flu cases in Iasi (North-East Romania). Two of the teenagers arrived in a group from Great Britain to participate in a social project, the Ministry of Heath announced.
The patients are currently hospitalised with the Infectious Diseases Hospital from Iasi, receiving antiviral treatment. Their health is favourable. The health authorities continue to test the persons who came into contact with the two Brits.
There were five new swine cases announced in Romania on Tuesday: four of them are part of the English group, which arrived in Romania one week ago. The fifth is a child from the placing centre the British came to support. They all have been in contact with the two patients diagnosed on Monday with A/H1N1.
There were 35 swine flu infection cases recorded in Romania so far.
