Two Romanians arrested in Bulgaria, accused to attacking the guards of the Parliament's President

Two Romanians were arrested in Bulgaria after a conflict with the guards of the Bulgarian Parliament President, Tsetska Tsaceva, Novinite.com informs. One of the Romanian is the President of Rompetrol Bulgaria, Sorin Octavian Nichita.

Rompetrol Bulgaria released a declaration on Saturday night confirming that its President, Sorin Octavian Nichita was arrested and denounced the actions of the Bulgarian police. According to Rompetrol Bulgaria, Nichita, who was accompanied by two friends, requested to enter a restaurant but the guards refused their access.

The Romanians did not understand what the guards said as they only spoke Bulgarian which determined the policemen to act harsh and threatening, the release reads. According to the Romanians’ lawyer, Ivan Nyagolov they did not commit any aggression against the guards or the police.

The two Romanian citizens were arrested in Arbanassi, nearby Veliko Tarnovo, on Friday night as they were trying to enter the Winepalace restaurant that was reserved by Tsaceva and organizers for a festival, Stage of the Ages.
