Ukraine has new ambassador in Romania

HotNews.ro

Ukraine president Victor Yushchenko signed the decree recalling the ambassador in Romania, Yuri Malko. At the same time, Yushchenko Iuscenko named Markian Kulik as new ambassador to Bucharest, this representing the third change in the Ukrainian diplomacy after the NATO summit, after the ambassadors in Germany and Russia. The Ukrainian – Romanian agenda includes some important and urgent issues, such as the Bastroe canal construction – widely accused of affecting the Danube Delta ecological system – and the property of the Serpents Island.
