Union leader Bogdan Hossu, Cartel Alfa: a general strike is the only solution left after the motion fell 

A general strike is the only solution standing, after the motion against the government fell on Wednesday, leader of the Cartel Alfa union Bogdan Hossu declared on the stage in the Constitutiei square in front of the Parliament.

According to the Romanian news agency Agerpres, protesters were violent for a limited time when they found out that the motion fell. Shortly after, they left the square.
