VIDEO Aqua revine cu un nou album

Cunoscuta pentru piese ca Barbie Girl si Dr. Jones, formatia Aqua a revenit pe scena muzicala cu single-ul Back To The 80s, la noua ani de la ultimul hit al trupei. Cantecul este inclus pe albumul Greatest Hits, lansat in aceasta vara.

Aqua este o trupa formata in 1994. Lene Nystrøm (voce), Rene Dif (voce), Claus Norreen (chitara, keyboard) si Søren Rasted (keyboard, voce) au devenit cunoscuti prin cele doua albume lansate: Aquarium (1997) si Aquarius (2000).

Trupa s-a destramat in 2001, dar a revenit pe scena in 2008, pentru opt concerte sustinute in Denemarca. Anul acesta au lansat un nou material, al doilea disc „greatest hits” din cariera.

Greatest Hits contine 19 melodii: 16 dintre piesele mai vechi ale trupei, in varianta remasterizata, dar si trei piese noi: Back To The 80s, My Mamma Said si Live fast, Die Young. Albumul a fost lansat pe 15 iunie in Danemarca, iar o editie internationala a materialului va aparea pe 22 septembrie. In prezent, Aqua se afla intr-un turneu de promovare al noului material.

Back To The 80s este primul cantec de pe noul material care beneficiaza de un videoclip. Piesa pomeneste nume ca Michael Jackson, Twisted Sisters, David Hasselhoff, Tom Cruise, Ronald Reagan, Don Johnson.
