PM Boc tacitly accepted the vote Parliamentarians gave in the Ridzi case, to make sure he has no surprises at the 2011 law on budget vote, one newspaper claims on Friday. Elsewhere in the news, Bucharest mayor Sorin Oprescu plans to spend 23 million euro to rehabilitate Dambovita, the river crossing through Bucharest. Last but not least, over 21,000 tourists arrived at the board of cruise ships and over 90 tons of merchandise transited per minute in Constanta port, South East Romania.

Evenimentul Zilei reads on Friday that PM Boc ignored the vote of the Parliamentarians in the Ridzi case to make sure he has no surprises at the vote on the 2011 law on budget and at the motions of censure.

PM Boc did not sanction them, not even verbally. He just said that the Parliamentary immunity needs to be reconsidered. Even though the President criticized the vote of the PDL, Pm Boc blames it on the opposition parties.

Elsewhere in the news, Gandul reads about the plans of the Bucharest Mayor Sorin Oprescu to spend 23 million euro to rehabilitate Dambovita, the river passing through Bucharest. According to the newspaper, the mayor plans to create some green spaces that would float on the river.

Just the pilot project, of 100 meters will cost about 300,000 euro. Oprescu’s specialists plan through this rehabilitation to increase the temperatures in the summer, hoping to install some mechanisms that would release a colder air.

The surface of the river is 34 km and the plan is to add floating panels with green spaces along the sides of the river.

Romania libera reads that in the first ten months of the year, over 43 million tons of products passed through Romanian ports as the National Administration of Constanta Ports presented its report for the first 11 months of activity.

Cruise ships seem to resume traffic through Constanta: in 2010 58 cruise ships arrived in the port with 21,300 tourists on board unlike in 2009 when 48 ships arrived with 15,000 tourists.

Costa Crociere company, one of the most important in the world, became a recurrent client of the Constanta port, the newspaper reads.
