World Bank report: 1 of 10 Romanians emigrate / Over 3000 doctors left to seek a job abroad

Romania is among the first 10 states in the world in terms of qualified people who choose to emigrate, a World Bank study reads on Tuesday. At least among doctors, the situation is dramatic: over 3000 doctors (about 7%) preferred to seek a job abroad, the report shows. The first three destination countries are Spain, Italy and Hungary.
In Romania citizens from Syria, Moldova, Greece, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia come for work. According to the report, Romania is on the 18th position in terms of the number of emigrants with 2.8 million people. These sent to the country about 4.5 billion dollars.
