ACCOUNT MANAGER – EurActiv.ro – JOB DESCRIPTION
– Full-time position
– He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing and fund-raising operations of EurActiv.ro, the leading media specialized on EU policy in Romania.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Actively seeks new sponsors, by proposing new projects and packages to new companies; Develops annual fund-raising targets, together with the Marketing Manager
– Prepares presentations for potential sponsors, presents the packages to new potential sponsors, keeps contact and good relations with all potential sponsors
– Ensures communication flow with current sponsors: contract management, monitors payable invoices, monitors renewals of contracts, prepares sponsoring contracts consulting with company lawyers, micro-management of the cross-lingual sponsors implementation, updates company’s pricelist of
services;
– Actively represents the company to conferences and seminars
Profile:
– Worked in sales, marketing or PR
– Good knowledge of sales and marketing strategies
– Economic academic background probably, similar business orientation
– Hard-working, bright, entrepreneurial, team-spirit
– Strong interest in the media and internet, respect of editorial independence and EurActiv baseline
– Verifiable references
– EU/international projects will be an advantage
– Excellent phone skills, good presentation skills
– Excellent computer skills: Internet browsing, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), image editing
– Languages: native Romanian, excellent English.
