The toxic spill generated by the ecological disaster in Hungary did not cause any damage to the Danube, a Hungarian official declared for Reuters. Tibor Dobson said that the last data reveal that the PH level measured in the Danube is between 8 and 8.2 which is normal.
Starting on Monday environment protection teams reaced to clean up the toxic spill in Hungary. As a reminder, an accident at the alumina Ajka factory, 160 km away from Budapest caused the spill of important toxic residue in the nearby rivers.
