Bucharest Police can be accessed via Messenger
The Police in Bucharest can be contacted by the people living in Romania’s capital via Messenger. The Bucharest Police official website features now a messenger line. By adding Yahoo! Messenger id dgpmb01, the locals will receive information straight from the Police, according to Romanian press agency NewsIn.
The Police will spend two hours on messenger for the moment. If the locals start to use the feature largely, the Police will run it full time. „It is possible to have a 24-hours service. It will have a utility character. The service will not solve penal charges”, the Bucharest Police spokesperson Christian Ciocan told NewsIn.
The press office of the Police in Bucharest will have three staff running the service.
