Residential buildings construction authorizations increase 10.6%

The number of authorizations for the construction of residential buildings increased 10.6% during the first nine months of the year, compared to January – September 2007, the National Statistics Institute informs. The total number of authorizations (one authorization may refer to a building with one or more homes) reached 47,455.

Considering the development areas, most authorizations were released for Southern Muntenia. For the Bucharest – Ilfov region, 918 authorizations were released this year.
