Romanian Camelia Potec received a bronze medal at the Rome World Championships

Romanian swimmer Camelia Potec won on Tuesday a bronze medal in the 1,500 meter competition at the Rome World Championships. The competition was won by Italian Alessia Filippi who established a new world record, with 15 min 44 sec. On second place came Danish Lotte Friis with 15:46.30 followed by Camelia Potec with 15:55.63.

The older European record was set by Camelia on April 26, 2008 when the Romanian managed to finish with 15:52.37.
