France will start on Thursday to expel Rroma communities to Romania and Bulgaria
France will start to expel about 70 Rroma people living in illegal camps across the country, Interior minister Brice Hortefeux declared, quoted by AFP. Overall, 700 Rroma will be exelled to their countries by the end of the month. Hortefeux declared that France is solely respecting the law, they are not discriminating against one ethnic minority.
Flights to Romania and Bulgaria will be made by private companies, from public airports on 19 and 26 August. The French government launched, in the last weeks, a controversed campaign against the Rroma community living in unauthorized camps.
