Intel has 30 employees in Bucharest, Romania and plans to triple the numbers by the end of the year
Intel currently has 30 employees at its research center opened in 2010 in Bucharest and the objective is to reach100 employees by the end of the year, Intel representatives said for HotNews.ro at the event presenting the second generation of Intel Core processors. The company says the Nokia Microsoft partnership does not influence the company’s development plans in Romania.
Currently the company is recruiting a new country manger from Romania, PR manager for Eastern and Central Europe Manuela Oprisan said. The center opened its gates in November last year with a few employees and the main objective is developing activities for the MeeGo open source platform.
