The newspaper quotes the conclusions of prosecutors who read that Vantu can influence who gets what in state structures and the public opinion through his news television channel, Realitatea TV.
According to prosecutors, the instruments at Vantu’s hand should be enough to convince them to sentence him. The newspaper quotes prosecutors who conclude that Vantu was disturbed by justice and for him, the respect to the rule of law is an option and nothing more.
Labor minister Ioan Botis explained, in an interview for Evenimentul Zilei, how bonuses are offered within his ministry. He declared that employees might receive their bonuses this month, for September only.
Botis relies on the same logic put forward by both PM Boc and Finance minister Ialomitianu, that bonuses will be offered based on performance only and when the leadership acknowledges that the activity is improved and therefore a bonus is justified.
He declared that all Labor ministry employees – including those in various agencies, departments across the country, did not receive their bonus in July but the minister admitted that he does not know why.
He explained that when he took over the ministry, there were no criteria for the way bonuses were offered and he has been evaluating its employees as of September only.
