Forbes rates the most accessible countries for tourists during the economic crisis: Romania placed 11th

Romania was placed 11th in Forbes rating agency top for the most accessible countries for tourism during the economic crisis. The criteria used were the local dollar exchange rate and the price for a plane ticket from the US to each country, according to Pravada quoted by NewsIn.

Hungary took first place. The Hungarian currency depreciated 30% against the dollar and the price for a return US-Hungary plane ticket is $790.

Sweden came second. Its currency lost 31% against the dollar and a return plane ticket costs 31%.

Poland was awarded the third position. The Polish currency depreciated 50% against the dollar and a return flight was priced $740.

Columbia took the forth place and Brazil came fifth.

Number seven in the rating, Russia, saw its national currency depreciating 35% against the dollar. A return ticket from the US to Russia costs 780.

Romanian leu depreciated 30% against the dollar, and the price for a return ticket is 970.
