Seven Romanians arrested in Italy for forcing co-national child to work as prostitute
The Italian press continues to trigger public attention to acts of violence committed by Romanians in Italy. Seven Romanians were arrested in Cuneo, Italy on Tuesday morning under charges of raping a 15 year old girl and forcing her to work as a prostitute, Agr news agency informs.
According to quoted sources, the young girl was forced to engage in sexual relations with other Romanians in Italy, as her persecutors were transporting her to their homes. The perpetrators feared that, if left on the streets, the girl could be found by the Italian police.
Nevertheless, after two months, the girl managed to escape and denounce them to the police.
