Romanian PM eyes national strategy to adopt electric cars
Romania’s PM Emil Boc announced on Friday that a cross-ministerial working group would be established in the next governmental session to establish a future platform of a car pollution tax and prepare the country’s strategy to adopt electric cars, according to Romanian news agency Agerpres.
Boc said during a visit to Dacia factory in Pitesti, south Romania that the „electric car would be the car of the future within 10 to 20 years. We must prepare as the whole European Union prepares to deliver the electric car of the future, with all its advantages, from pollution reduction to a reduction of oil dependency and a better confort for citizens”.
According to the PM, the working group would set up Romania’s strategy for a future electric car.
