Sources: Head of Democratic Liberals' Bucharest branch interested in withdrawing
Sources have told HotNews.ro that Liviu Negoita, the head of the Bucharest branch of the Democratic Liberal party (PDL), was interested in withdrawing as head of the branch. The same sources claimed his place might be taken by top PDL official Elena Udrea, who has dismissed the information, however.
The sources said Negoita allegedly informed the PDL leadership already that he could no longer head the Bucharest branch and that he was not interested in running for Bucharest City Hall in the future due to his health condition.
