Yanukovici swears in as Ukraine's President: Ukraine confronts with huge debt, poverty a collapsing economy and corruption

Ukraine’s President, Viktor Yanukovic swears in on Thursday as President after his victory on February 7 in the general elections, Reuters reads. He declared that Ukraine faces huge debts, poverty, a collapsing economy and corruption.

He said that a new era begins for Ukraine with his mandate. Analysts believe that Yanukovici, aged 59, will promote a Russia friendly policy and will maintain in the same time Ukraine close to the EU.
