A/H1N1 virus: a man originating from Romania died in Austria
A man originating from Romania died in Austria, after a heart attack most probably caused by complications related to the A/H1N1 virus, Deutsche Presse Agentur informed. Aged 39, the man died in Salzburg, a medical representative Christoph Koenig confirmed.
Until now few Austrian citizens developed serious complications after infected with the A/H1N1 virus, a spokesperson of the Health Ministry declared. Last week, a 11 year old child in Italy died in Innsbruck where she was transferred for treatment.
The ministry announced up to now 964 new cases but doctors say that the real number is higher, estimating over 10,000 cases just in Vienna.
