Analysts estimate an annual inflation rate of 7.6% in September 

Consumption prices increased in September by 0.4% and the annual inflation rate was 7.6% according to an average of opinions expressed by Romanian experts. The analysts opinions related to inflation varied between 0.2% and 0.7% and estimates regarding the annual rate are somewhere between 7.3% and 7.9%.

For the end of 2010, experts estimate an annual inflation rate of 7.8%. According to the National Statistics Institute, in August, the inflation rate was 0.23% and the annual inflation rate was 7.58% in August.
