Georgios Ioannidis named new general manager at Romtelecom
Georgios Ioannidis, a member of the board in several of the OTE Group companies, will take over the job as general manager of Romanian communications operator Romtelecom starting February 1, a company press release says. Ioannidis will replace current manager James Hubley.
Ioannidis has been a member of the Romtelecom board since July 2006.
Ioanniddis started his career within the OTE group in 1975 and served as engineer, department manager and brang manager in the company throughout the years.
Romtelecom is Romania’s main wired telephony operator but has been extending its activities in the DTH and mobile telephony sectors.
