Romania will contribute with over 1.4 billion euro to the EU budget in 2009
The total contribution of our country for 2009, to the EU budget will amount to 1.4 billion euro, which represents 1.21% of the total contribution of member states. The biggest amount of money will come from Germany, with almost 20% of the total, which is about 22.4 billion euro. Romanian MEP Daniel Daianu declared that the economic crisis will have its effects in the following years, over these contributions.
The European Parliament just approved on Thursday, December 18, the EU budget for next year. Romania will add 1.387 billion euro to the budgetary revenues.
