Cheap Japanese products conquer Romanian market

Top Japanese retail chain Daiso, which sells all its products at the same price has opened its first shop in Pitesti with an initial investment of 450,000 euro, a company’s press release informs.

Daiso shops will sell over 30,000 products for the unique price of 5 Romanian Ron. Company officials say that Daiso will develop rapidly on the market, reaching some 40 shops in the next three years.

Executive Director of Daiso Romania, Dan Rus said that the company had a great potential on the Romania market. The Romanian shops will have some 500 sq. meters and will be centrally located. Moreover, all products are licensed.
