Moldovan PM asks Vladimir Putin to get involved in solving the issue of Moldova exports
Republic of Moldova PM Vlad Filat has sent a letter to Russian PM Vladimir Putin urging him to intervene in the issue of Moldova exports of wine, fruit and vegetables, according to Info-Prim Neo, as quoted by Moldova Azi portal.
Filat spoke on the issue on the national TV channel on Wednesday, saying Moldova was not facing an embargo from Russia, but only unjustified restrictions.
Authorities in Moscow recently limited to 36 the number of Republic of Moldova companies allowed to export vegetables and fruit to Russia, from a total of 177 companies so far.
