PM: Government to take responsibility for measures reducing budget spending. Administration councils to donate all incomes to a solidarity fund
Romanian Prime-Minister Emil Boc requested Government members and the governing Coalition to take responsibility for the law project addressing the enforcement of austerity measures.
The Prime-minister claims that the ruling coalition will still place their bets on the budget spending cuts, excluding an increase in taxes. Boc also said that a new proposal will be launched in the Government’s meeting: all state secretaries and ministerial councillors are to donate their income received in the Administration Councils to the societies where the state has minor participations, like banking societies CEC and EximBank. The money will be donated to a solidarity fund.
In the Wednesday’s session, a normative act project will be discussed for the first time, namely the reduction of fiscal fraud.
