PSD leader Victor Ponta about the Voicu case: the vote will not be recast

Things in the case involving Senator Catalin Voicu in an anti graft investigation are clear and already set so the vote will not be recast in the Senate, Social Democratic Party leader Victor Ponta declared at RFI radio.

His reaction follows the declarations of Voicu, urging the Parliament to repeat the vote validating the request of anti graft prosecutors to arrest Voicu. Ponta declared that all procedures were respected and there a recast of the vote is out of the question.

Ponta underlined that the party considers that anybody should answer to the rule of law, and this includes Voicu.
