Romanian who flew to London illegally on a plane landing gear was released by Police

A Romanian man who flew to London on the landing gear of a plane and survived freezing temperatures has been released by British Police, BBC has announced.

The 20 year-old man was retained on Sunday evening when he fell from the fixed landing gear of a plane which landed on Heathrow coming from Austria.

He received a Mets warning and then released as the British border agency announced it did not plan to expel him.
