Businessman’s third hearing in Rafo case

Romanian businessman Ovidiu Tender went through hours of hearings on Thursday when the Bucharest Tribunal debated on a a a 30-day preventive arrest warrant requested by prosecutors. This was for the third time the prosecutors debated upon the propoasal.

The General Prosecutor’s Office requested Tender’s arrest following the listening of a audio cassette that proved one of Tender’s layer tried to bribe an expert in the RAFO case.

The businessman is charged with embezzlement, money laundering, and participation to an organized crime group in the RAFO case.
