Danish Parliamentarians oppose Romania and Bulgaria’s joining Schengen

Danish Parliamentarians, of all political parties insisted that the executive should stand by France and Germany and prevent Romanian and Bulgaria’s adhesion to Schengen, Focus news agency reads. The parliamentarians sent an official letter to the Danish PM.

The two countries should not join Schengen before they deal with their corruption, Danish Parliamentarians believe. In the letter they read that the date announced by Hungary, of October 1, 2011 is too early.
