Public television Ethics Commission debates on „Remes’ bribe” case

The Ethics Commission in of the public television station (TCR) gathered on Friday in order to discuss the broadcast on Wednesday of a short footage showing Agriculture Minister Decebal Traian Remes accepting an alleged bribe from the former Agriculture Minister Ioan Avram Muresan.

While the Commission analyzes potential penalties, TVR news manager Rodica Culcer sent a press release, demanding approval for broadcasting the images that weren’t yet broadcast.

Alexandru Sassu, chairman of the board and general manager of TVR, forbid the broadcast of the rest of the footage, presented exclusively this morning by Hotnews.ro.
