Romanian users will be able to purchase applications on Android’s online shop
Google announced that Romanian users will be able to purchase online applications from Android Market shop. So far, those in Romania were able to install just free applications but they could not purchase programs. Android Market has 200,000 applications. AppStore has over 300,000 and Romanian have been able to purchase applications from it for several years now.
Google announced that Android Market will increase access of consumers and the support offered by the developer to paid applications in new countries. In the following days, consumers across 99 countries will be able to purchase applications from Android Market.
When Google opened its office in Romania, its representatives said that Romanians will have access to the Android Market in 2011. The system is used by at least 150,000 smartphone users in the country plus another ten of thousands of tablet users.
